Capulálpam de Méndez is renowned as a “Pueblo Mágico” (“Magical Town”, a Federal Government recognition for special rural towns). In this hospitable nook in the sierra you will enjoy our wonders: walk our stone paved steep streets while you discover our traditional architecture, get to know our cultural production and discover, throughout your five senses, all the hidden treasures in our nature.

Day and night trails: forest, grottoes, amazing scenery and astonishing rock formations that will enlighten you imagination. We offer a large selection of activities that will bring fun, adventure or rest… a complete spectrum of emotions, just waiting to be discovered. This is Ecoturismo Capulálpam.

Cabins with food service, Multi purpose saloon for special events. (up to 50 people), Camping area at “Los Sabinos” park, Restaurant at recreative center “Los Molinos”, invoicing, credit card payment (please confirm the latter).

“Turismo Ecológico Comunitario Capulálpam Mágico“, was created in the year 2005, as a local initiative with the full support of the General Assembly of the Community Members.

Our priority is the sustainable use of our natural and cultural heritage, as well as the generation of jobs for men and women of our community, always looking for consistent training in order to strengthen our competitiveness in products and activities. We foster the consumption of local products, as well as promote conditions for a diversified tourism activity
